Mont Gorille via Petit Lac du Mont Gorille

This trail is moderately difficult up to Petit Lac du Mont Gorille, but after that, the trail is extremely difficult - steep, rocky, muddy, and often slippery and treacherous as you climb the last 200 vertical metres to join the Sentie national au Québec, near the viewpoint at the top of Mont Gorille. But the rewards are worth it. The huge mossy boulders, fixed rope sections and cliff views near the summit are superb attractions for experienced hikers. In winter, it is too dangerous to continue past Petit Lac du Mont Gorille. IMPORTANT: Please do not record any of these trails on AllTrails, Strava or other public sites.
